Welcome to Blog for the Bog

You might ask me why trail riding interests me so much but there are so many contributions I couldn’t tell you exactly why.  It’s an escape from reality from civilization, pushing your truck to its breaking point and sometimes past it if you ride with ignorance.  Getting a group of friends and just riding feels so good, just the thought of one of your group members making a mistake makes your heart race.  The steam from the heat rises off the trail in the midset sun.  The smell of smoldering mud on exhaust pipes and rich gas hits your nose only to fade away once the first hole comes around.  Creeping through the high side of a hole and sliding in, hammering on the gas and leaving the trail full of mud.  Hitting soft sand, you have a 6,000lb vehicle that is bound to get stuck it’s about time to make your own rut.  Shifting gears, foot on the gas we make our way through the winding trails to the point of destination.  That’s your objective, in this series of lessons you will learn how to ride trails faster and better than ever.  You will make it farther than your peers; it’s all about skill and ride styles that set you apart from everyone else.  This blog will teach you the tricks and techniques to make you a better driver/rider.  So stays tuned in for each lesson and read carefully then go out and try it yourself.  There will be tons of images supporting the different lessons with helpful hints.  Feel free to leave comments and or concerns if you disagree, as well as give me some of you tips or tricks learning new things never hurts when it comes to rail riding, but just remember ride the trail live the life on Blog for the Bog. - Trey B.

  2. I am involved with going out in the woods and in your blog that is how it really is. You smell the mud burn on the engine and all kinds of parts that are hot. Racing fourwheelers you some times have to go through the mud and the steam from the engine it is very funny. If you every get the chance to go bogging i would take that oppurtunity.
